I'm looking for some more sheath dresses for work. I prefer at the knee or a little above (as opposed to a midi length). Any sleeve length is fine. I tend to go for solid colors and then accessorize, but am open to prints as well. Thank you!!
gennyu I love the look of that dress. I may need it! How's the sizing and length? Did you find it TTS? I'm 5'3 and thinking I need the petite so it's not below my knees

Yes, I would definitely get the petite if I were you! I'm 5'8" and it hits just above my knee.
As for sizing, I fluctuate between two dress sizes so I ordered both and kept the smaller of the two.
I was also going to recommend the lands end sheath. I have three from a year or so ago. They are so comfortable - made of ponte fabric and versatile. The sleeveless one can be worn in the spring/fall and also in the winter with a shirt underneath.
My LE sheath came and fits perfectly. I totally think it will work for my event. It's more casual, but I ordered it in black. I think I can dress it up with some heels, colored tights and decent accessories. Bonus: I'll be super comfortable and wear it again. Yay!
I have the LE sheath dress (sleeveless) in black and I agree the fabric can be easily dressed up or down which makes it so versatile!
I ordered one from Land's End and am, unfortunately, a little disappointed. It's a great fit across my chest and hips but pretty baggy in the waist. I'm going to try the smaller size but am afraid it'll be too tight in my hips. Pretty bummed - I've heard so many raves about LE sheaths.

Okay, I can't believe Land's End is calling that dress a sheath when it is clearly an A-line. A sheath is my go-to silhouette. Some of my favorite sheaths are Maggy London, Ralph Lauren, Kors, Calvin Klein, Lafayette 148, St. John's, etc. You should also check Amazon, they are abundant.

I can see how you feel that way based on the picture but IRL it really does have more of a sheath silhouette (at least on me).
