Mine can't make it all night and sometimes I don't hear her get up. It's better than her using the rugs. :/
can I get some info on the pee pads? How do the dogs know to go there vs. the floor? My dog has been peeing in the kitchen at night randomly. It's totally bizarre because she's in the house longer during the day, without potty breaks, than she she is overnight.
I think they have some sort of attracting scent in them.
ETA: I put one where she peed in the past, so there is also that.
Sometimes dogs are old, or incontinent, or have other health issues. That would be where I consider them acceptable. I let my dogs out on my patio w/fake grass in addition to walking, which is kinda gross but it's outside and gets hosed down. lol.
Sure. Health issues or age are one thing. But just because? I just can't understand that inside the house.
Well I live in a high rise so it takes about 15 minutes to take the elevator and get to green space, have them go and then come back. They are small and sometimes go upwards of 6 times a day. If my oldest wasn't puppy pad trained I literally wouldn't be able to leave my house including work for more than a few hours at at time. My next dog just caught on and it's super convenient. But my guy only goes like a very small amount anyways, the puppy pad captures it all so I just toss it in the trash and put down a new one. I can see why others might think it's gross, but it works out well for me and I always clean it up. Not like there are days of pee just chilling around the house.
