It's about 50 out now, which qualifies as warm enough to wash bikes in the winter. Time to wash my CX bikes from CXNats (been too cold or I've been too busy) and to put them away til late summer.
@cheshire , when is the Paris race? I am so excited for you. Maybe not all-nighter excited, but definitely excited to check on you first thing in the morning.
It is Sunday 3 April, I start at 0930 CET (central euro time) and with any luck, I should be finished before 1315CET. I don't blame anyone for not tracking!

No obligations today, so I slept in and waited until after lunch to workout. Ran 7 miles and did 15 mins of a spin podcast. Perfect 10 day to be outside.
I crushed my 15k, taking 7+ minutes off last years time and setting a big 10k PR on my Garmin. Definitely a good way to go out (IVF exercise restriction starts Tuesday).
I am so late on this, but I am here! I am awake for a little while. I am exhausted after my race this morning. I shaved 15 mins off from last year so that may explain the exhaustion! I saw scm1011 though, so that was super exciting.

Best way to start an exercise restriction! You looked amazing when I saw you on the course! I wish my Garmin was running today. Ugh! I don't know what happened to it.

Oh no clseale ! What is going on with your Achilles? I have been MIA this week in here. Despite the fact that I only work p/t, I have been crazy busy with work. A certain city in the Midwest that is getting a lot of attention. . . Grrr!
I don't know, really, other than it's being an asshole. I THINK (hope) it's just a result of really tight calves. I'm foam rolling a ton & I'm going to schedule a massage for this week. It just started at the end of last week. I had a great 18-miler yesterday & told DH that if that was the marathon, I could have pushed through, but it's just holding be back in terms of speed work & weekly mileage, because I'm afraid of legit hurting it. Hopefully I'll get some knots worked out & I'll see an improvement.
I am having a very similar problem. I am consistently stretching my calf. I bought that Strasbourg sock to sleep in and now am icing my heel once or twice a day. The ice seems to be helping the best which surprised me. I am hoping to get some needling/calf massage soon too. If you find something that works, please share. And happy healing/heeling!

Finally got 6 miles in this afternoon ended up being at marathon goal pace. I needed a good run after my 18 yesterday. And I ruled out a potential house along my run.

I'll definitely let you know! Sorry you're dealing with it too. Hope we both feel better soon!!
