So same advice...this seems like breakfast with a random green salad...so I would think of what you can add to make it more lunchy...
If the meat/cheeses are like deli stuff then that should be fine because it's like a sandwich, just using bagels
you could do a spiral ham, depending on how many people
I think you are fine without the potatos, but you would be fine to add them, I could go either way. Since you say it's an informal gathering, I think this sounds fine
I agree that it sounds breakfast heavy which is why I added the meats/cheeses for bagel sandwiches... I'm at a loss for what else I could have that would help with a more br(lunch!) gathering.
I'm not thrilled about the idea of making a ham (more out of a lack of experience than anything else). Other ideas?
I didnt know there was a similar post about this- I'll look for it to see the advice given there too, but if you have any ideas for lunch-y items, that would be much appreciated!
I'd swap the scones for croissant and add some jellies and use it for your sandwiches too (bagels always seem too big to me). Hams are incredibly easy, and a good suggestion because they do double duty as a breakfast meat and a sandwich meat. If you really don't want to bother consider chicken salad.
I am a huge potato fan, but hashbrowns would be a pain here. If you decide to add them just do a pan of oven roasted.
Since you have the fruit, I'd probably add some vanilla yogurt and possibly granola. People can use the yogurt as a dip or they can make a parfait or just go for the fruit.
Coffee Mimosas Orange juice White peach basil sangria
Croissant French toast w/a strawberry sauce/compote Asparagus and Swiss Quiche Fruit salad w/a vanilla whip cream type dip Ham (like thick slices of ham steak, you don;t have to do a spiral) Phyllo cups w/a spinach artichoke dip I made Crumb cake Scones

I don't see the need for the meat/cheese or the salad; but, what you serve is not as important as having been invited to share your event. The only thing that I would do is nix the thoughts of alcohol.

Thanks.
Why not just buy a spiral ham from a place like honey baked ham? You can get various sizes and it's good cold or heating some up.
