I am taking DD to get 6 months photos done tomorrow, and I want to get some of us together too since my DH is not very good about taking them for me. I'm stuck between 2 outfits for me.
DD's dress is in the middle, pink and white hearts on navy background. I'll have her in navy tights and gold mocs.
My options are the cream sweater dress with navy pants and rose gold flats. Not sure what to do for accessories. Or navy peplum top but not sure what bottom. Would jeans work?
I'm thinking our together photos would be more focused on my top half - either me holding DD in my arms, or maybe sitting on the floor with her in my lap. So maybe I'm over thinking the pants.

I would wear the light top. I think because her hair is dark that it might get lost in front of your navy shirt. That long necklace might distract her and probably won't be seen with her on your lap or it might get distorted with you holding her so you might want to wear a shorter necklace. I don't know anything about photography though so these are just guesses.
If we're friends on Facebook you've already seen some.. but here are a couple of my favorites from the shoot today. I decided to go with simple pearls for myself, less distracting for DD and doesn't take away from anything else going on.
