Is there anything you do every day with your kids?
Every afternoon at 4pm DD and I put on Ellen. She watches on the couch while I watch from the kitchen, prepping dinner. It's my favorite way to wind down from our day and we both love her endlessly:)
As soon as the show is over DD knows it's time to go take a bath before we eat and she goes to bed.

That's so cute I can't stand it.
The boys get to watch 1 or 2 shows while I shower and get ready in the morning. Sometimes if they wake up early we lay in my bed and watch videos from FuzzyPack on IG. I think the biggest thing though is they know we pray before we eat dinner.

Yep. Ari gets 1.5 hours of tv a day and that comes from 4:30 to 6. It's whole I make dinner and he 100% expects it. If I change the plan he freaks out!
In the morning he always drinks his milk at the table with Dh. It's adorable
After dinner we sing the ants go marching as we climb the stairs
We all Put on pajamas and each boy picks out a book and we pick out a book then we all read a good night themed book last like good night moon etc
My h Brings m to his room and I stay with k and my h goes and gets water with ice ball cup for m robot cup for k always then he ticks everyone in and I lay with k and he lays with m
Yes. Every night I whisper things in Lil's ear. It's the same three things since she was a baby and she calls them her secrets. Then I give her three kisses. Lately she's been whispering things back to me which is really sweet.
It's not so much a ritual, but I like my walk home from daycare with the boys. Nolan cuddles into me in a carrier, while Carter chats nonstop about his day. Sometimes we walk with other families and sometimes alone. We usually stop by the puppy store to see who is in the window and a fire station to see if the engines are home or working. It's close to a mile of just us talking with no toys or phones to distract anyone.

Oh I have another!
We do this thing called family hugs and family kisses. We hold the kids and then embrace one another, hugging and kissing eachother. Ari loves it and has been asking for family hugs every night.
We sing Skiddamarinkydoo every night at at the end take turns singing about things we loved that day, like "l love you, I loved going down the fast slide together, I love you, I loved when you helped me cut vegetables at dinner..."
Carter likes to sing Nolan a lullaby every night, which is the cutest.

Every night after bath, tooth brushing, reading books, Peyton makes a wish on a fairy rock. It's a little flat glass marble thing that the fairy at the Renaissance Festival gave her. She holds it tight in her hand, closes her eyes, whispers a wish, shakes it, kisses it, and puts it in a little wooden puzzle box she also got at the Renaissance festival. Haha. Lately her wish has been "I wish it was my birthday" haha. When I was pregnant with Logan her wish was "I wish Logan would come out and play" every night.
Another one- After dinner DD and the man go brush their teeth together while I clean up. They then go snuggle on the couch and DD "helps" him take his Scrabble turns on the iPad. It's their one-on-one time during the week and the highlight of her night.
At bedtime we always read our story, then I tuck him in with all the right blankets. We both tell God what we're thankful for that day, and then I say prayers. At the end he always asks me "mommy will you sit in the chair", and I say "of course I will". So I kiss him good night and sit in the chair and he rolls over and falls asleep.

Probably too many. In the morning, we drive past the fire station near his school. We make all sorts of predictions about what trucks will be in, whether the fire chief will be there, etc. We also have a snuggle and bedtime routine.
Everyday when I pick her up from school I have snacks in my car waiting. And everyday she asks me if I have candy Pez lol. I had it one or 2's as a bribe in the morning a while ago but apparently she has never forgotten that wonderful snack day.
When it's lights out for bed we lay there and talk about 3 things. First we talk about the elephants (I describe what they look like), then we talk about the ocean (list sea animals, describe the beach and what we do there) then we talk about the letters. I got through each letter and list a few things that start with that letter. Always in that order and she asks for each one. Sometimes we don't get past the elephants, which is always nice
