Omg. I remember when I was a student there and people would send out emails about something like a bbq for volleyball players to 50 or so email distribution lists - graduate students of color, law students association, sociology students, med school 2001, dental students, social work, Christian students, etc - lists that probably contained thousands of people.
Then one person would reply all and be all, "why am I getting this? Please take me off this list." Then five other people would reply all and say, "no one knows which list you are a part of and don't reply to all." Then 15 other people would reply all and ask to be taken off the list. Another 15 would just reply all with UNSUBSCRIBE. Then the IT department would freeze all emails - I think they called it an email storm or something. This happened like once a month.

LOL!
When the movie Snakes on a Plane came out, there was a website you could go to and create a custom message with Samuel L. Jackson talking about motherf*ing snakes on a plane. You could even customize the person's name, and then you could have it call that person or leave them a voicemail. One of my coworkers found it and we started leaving Snakes on a Plane voicemails for all of our friends in the office. So much lost productivity that day.
