I am kind of stressing about what to wear on our upcoming trip (in April). I was trying to find a "going out" outfit for a concert last night and came to the conclusion I have sundresses for summer and work clothes. Not much else.
The first caveat: I am plus size and don't want anything too short/too tight. Second caveat: I need things that are affordable and not crazy expensive.
I have casual clothes for bumming around during the day, and some of the time will be spent hiking outside Vegas anyway, and some time will be spent sitting by the pool.
But I am needing outfits for going out at night. Things like nice dinners, seeing a show (Absinthe) and going out to bars and cocktail rooms. We are not doing night clubs, but places like Chandelier Bar, Rose. Rabbit. Lie., a couple places downtown like Commonwealth, etc. We may go dancing at a place like Carnival Court at Harrah's. I would like to wear nice flats if possible because I can't hang dancing in heels all night.
What types of dress/outfits would you buy for these situations? At what kind of places should I shop?

Anything goes in Vegas so you should pick clothes that you feel you look great in. What area of your body do you like the most? I have coated jeans and leather trim leggings that I dress up or down based on what top/accessories I wear. A slim fitting pencil skirt can be dressed up or down but I don't love them with flats. A nice body con dress is a good option- Forever21 tends to have some that are pretty well made but cheap, Check outTorrid and Asos too.
I am plus size with an hour glass figure. I wore wrap dresses to the shows and fit and flare dresses for dancing. I love twirling a skirt on a dance floor. I can't wear heels due to a back injury so routinely wear embellished flats with all my dresses. Generally, these types of dresses tend to show off a little cleavage which is okay for me. I have a one similar to this: shop.nordstrom.com/s/chetta-b-magic-lace-fit-flare-dress/4233572?origin=category-personalizedsort&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=&resultback=651 except mine has a v-neck that was fun for dancing at the wedding. We were in Vegas for a destination wedding.

I don't mind showing some cleavage and legs (as long as it's not too too short). Hate hate my stomach and prefer nothing super tight there. I would also prefer something with at least a short sleeve, but could suck it up and do sleeveless.
I'd like something fun and flirty but don't really know where to start. Maybe even sequins or fringe or something out of the ordinary? I was thinking a dress of some sort but then someone had also suggested faux leather leggings and I could maybe try those.
I just got back from Vegas last night. I rented this for Saturday night - dinner at Bouchon, High Roller @ the Linq, cocktailing, gambling. I wore it with oxblood metallic peep toes.

OK I found this one on RtR (I think it's the same dress as yours but in PS and green) and I love it. I think I'd have to do the 8 day rental to account for being OOT.
I am a 22/24 and it only comes up to 22, but many people are saying it fits on the large size, so I am hoping that would be OK? I am going to bookmark this one.
I haven't done RtR before. How soon after you wear it do you have to send it back? We're going to be there for 5 days.
I did the 8 day rental, got home yesterday, sent it back today. There is also a RTR store in the Cosmopolitan so you could return it there before heading home if you were so inclined.
I love the green dress, that'll look great on you. My go to going out outfit is usually black ankle length pants, wedge heels, and a nice top......something sparkly and slutty for Vegas preferably.

You could have it delivered to the hotel and send it back while you're still there depending on when you're wearing it. That's what I did when I went to NYC.
