amaranthMrsMBkatespadepooh8402 and others I'm not thinking of (I know there are a couple)-- I need outfit help! I got an amazing deal on this Ann Taylor skirt right before going back to work. I'm sure it was cheap because it's more summery, but I needed some stuff in bigger sizes and didn't wanna spent much
. I think it was like $5. Anyhow, with any luck, it won't fit by summer. Woop! So I'm trying to winterize it. It's a cream base with navy and magenta. I was thinking navy tights, but I'm not sure on shoe color if I do that. Any thoughts? Save
Shoes aren't my strong point at all I'd probably do a navy suede bootie or boot in navy, still with navy tights. Maybe a navy flat if you don't have boots? I'm not sure if that's a bad answer. The pattern is bold so mixing too many colors will get crazy fast.

Here is what I ended up with. Since purchasing new (navy) booties would have defeated the bargain shopping purpose of buying the skirt, I made do with some I had. I did a textured navy tight, cognac booty, navy three quarter sleeve cardi, and a bourbon and bowties bangle. The bootie/tight combo was wayyyy outside of my comfort zone. I've only ever worn those shoes with jeans but I got 3 compliments on that outfit so thanks fashionistas! I'll be back for more advice!
