Talk to me about your tempur pedic mattress

We got a hybrid mattress 6m ago. It already has ridges and valleys in it and m@cys declared it defective so we get to pick out a new bed and pay the price diff if we want to go more $. 

We are thinking of getting a temper pedic. We like plush level support. Any suggestions? Love or hate yours?

I LOVE our Tempur Pedic. I forget which model we have, I think one of their firmer ones (which still feels softer to me than most mattress with coils) So comfy. I miss it every time we go out of town.

I have the Cloud Supreme (whatever the softest is in the cloud line) and love it. I had a hybrid of a different brand that also was declared defective and I decided to upgrade after that and have zero regrets. It's been 4 years and since then, I know three other people who have all purchased a cloud with no regrets. Best mattress ever.

We love it. I think we have a cloud series. It makes all other beds in hotels seem inferior.

We also have a Cloud - one of the softer ones. We've had it for three years and no regrets. I'm a side sleeper, and the Tempurpedic is way more comfortable - not nearly as much pressure on my shoulders. I feel like I sleep in a cocoon every night. It's amazing!

Love! We have the breeze. GET THE ADJUSTABLE FRAME. It is amazing.

we spent $6k on our tempurpedic and adjustable frame. probably the biggest waste of money - it hasn't changed our sleep or musculoskeletal issues (neck pain for me, back pain for my H).


we will not repurchase.

I always have to pimp my bargain mattress- the Costco Ara. Love, love it. Plus, free returns if you hate it. When we looked at Tempurpedics, I thought it was comparable to the Cloud (not supreme)

We have a Sealy Embody that is still in pristine condition after 6 years. It is the most comfortable thing ever.

I love my tempurpedic so hard.

Ours was more in the $2k+ range. There are few purchases that I rave about-- I feel like most things I buy are fine, but not the be all/end all. But my tempurpedic is one of few exceptions

Thanks all! I am limited to the store that we bought our first mattress from, since we get a credit for our defective mattress there.

I think we are going to go test them out this weekend. I have an idea of which ones we would like (we like plush or medium soft-especially since I am 95% stomach sleeper).

We bought a dream foam ultimate dreams gel foam mattress.... Supposed to be like the tempurpedic cloud luxe. So I tried out the cloud luxe at the store....loved it, ordered this....which you can send back if you don't like it....love love love love. Cost so much less and has 20 year warranty. I didn't see the reason to pay the price for the tempurpedic but I love this mattress so much. Some days I don't want to get out of bed.

Decided to revive this old thread.

We are in the market for a new mattress, with a plan to buy over Memorial Day weekend. So far we like the Tempur-Pedic pro hybrid. I know mattresses are very hard to research, since feedback is so personal based on body type, sleep habits, etc. But if you have it, do you think it's worth the price? We are also looking at the adjustable base (but not the one where each person has their own side).

Also, did you buy directly from TP? Or did you use a different mattress store? I understand TP's are typically price-protected.
