Help me fire my cleaning lady

I'm sick of wasting money on her. I make her a list every time and I just spent the past hour doing what I already paid her for.

I've asked her several times to be more detailed and actually move things, not just clean around them. This never happens.

So, what do I say? I don't want to be mean but she kind of sucks lol

Tell her what you told us. 

You have to go back over and redo (or do) everything that you pay her to do. Remind her of your previous conversations and tell her that you will no longer need her services.

If you're really done with her, don't let her beg and plead and tell you she'll do better.

Ditto Sapphire. I also just stopped calling mine, but we did not have a standing appointment so you might have to have that chat. How annoying though.

Thanks. I've fired vendors in a professional capacity but never someone that worked for me. It's intimidating!

Do you think if you showed her what you mean (push the sofa around and show her underneath) she would understand your expectations better?  She could just be ignoring you and I am totally wrong also.  

Our lady won't move things on the counter, so if my facial cleanser is up there, she wipes around.  But, she did lay that out when we interviewed her.
