I have off today and tomorrow, and Monday is a holiday. Do I really have to wait until Tuesday to submit my notice in person? Can I not email it today so the clock starts ticking? lol.
I waited until the day after a holiday to give my notice at my last job. It was nice to sit on the decision and see how it felt. Every morning that I woke up feeling great I knew it was the right choice.

Which brings me to another question - yeah I don't want to burn any bridges so to speak.... but I know this company does an exit interview - can I seriously hand them a list of all the problems with my supervisor? The girls on my team have had issues with her since she took the job and the company never does anything about it. It's like they think it's an issue with those few girls and not with the supervisor. But the supervisor is seriously awful.... not that I think they will do anything about it....

I had this same predicament 2 years ago when I quit my job in CT because I got the job down here in FL. I wanted to give my notice that Wednesday before the holiday weekend, but my boss was out. I waited until he was back in the Tuesday after the holiday so I could tell him face to face.
I would wait and tell them face to face, and let them know if you have a time constraint concerning your new position and that you were unable to let them know face to face until Tuesday.
If you don't have any personal effects in your office area that you would want, you can give your notice today. They may say don't bother coming back.
If it's feasible, try to leave on good terms. You never know if you'll need these people and you did receive a positive evaluation. But if you can't stomach this, then say Buh-Bye.
