Two for Tuesday!

1. I'm working from home today because I woke up with awful period cramps and my boss is in the air all day coming back from Rome anyway.

2. I'm planning a long weekend in New Orleans with my sister - I can't wait!

1. I feel so much better this week! And consequently I probably look better, too, I had the red-nose last week from all that stuffed up crud.

2. There are a dozen huge lemons in my fruit bowl from my parents' lemon tree that won't stop growing. I plan to make a jug of fresh lemonade to bring to work to share. They are seriously the size of softballs and have so much juice, I've been trying to figure out ways to use all of them.  I made a lemon-chicken stir fry last night that turned out really good.

OPS - I'm so jealous. We go through so much lemon every week. Lemon pepper chicken is my favorite. I also make my own lemon vinaigrette, put it on veggies, or anything else. I'm obsessed with lemon!

Shit, if I could mail you a box full of lemons then I would! But I'd be afraid of how much the postage would be and if they would survive the mail system.   My parents can't give them out quick enough before more are dropping from the trees!

I only stopped there on a cruise excursion but it was beautiful and the cave-tubing was fricken awesome!  You are going to love it!   Good luck on your training, I'm sure you got this!

I want to crash and play tour guide, I love all the food and drinks there!  
You will enjoy it - so much fabulous dining cuisine to choose from!    Jaques Imo's is my favorite restaurant so far, but there is just too much to choose from and really no place I have been to in NOLA has let me down in the past.

That would be AWESOME!  We are actually flying through IAH on the way there Friday night!  Sis is only 24, so I'm trying to keep it cheap and as of right now we'll be sharing a king bed at the La Quinta.  lol

I was thinking of asking you when you'd be there, but the price difference for flights/hotels during Jazzfest made me rule those weeks out pretty early on.  It must be SO FUN though!!
