Got any?
Mine is that we *finally* took the Christmas tree down. R has this goofy habit of putting presents near the tree after they've been opened and ignoring them for like, a month. So now that we took it down, he discovered that when I cleaned the carpet (around his gifts), the carpet cleaner liquid got over to his cast iron BBQ sauce pot and slightly rusted the bottom. So he's all peeved and I'm like "so maybe we should have put them away or into use immediately, eh?" and now he's mad about that too, because apparently he didn't need attitude over it. Sigh. (Andplusalso, there's a round rust stain on my carpet. Anyone have any ideas on getting rust stains out of carpet?)
This new diet/pills/whatever combo (I'm insulin resistant, so I've had to cut way back on carbs and start Metformin - but at least I have a dang answer finally) is not so bad, except that sometimes we don't plan the day well and I wind up with like 15 carbs left for dinner, which is tough. I'm over here like "maybe we can have plain fish and cooked asparagus or something". Except I hate cooked fish.

And another one! I don't know what it is with medical providers' staff lately, but I have had a rash of paperwork (at work) with terrible grammar errors. I can overlook the occasional misplaced apostrophe or their/there/they're (although I HATE to do so), but yesterday I swear on a a stack of cookbooks I read the sentence "He has tooken his pills as directed." in a medical report.
tooken.
TOOKEN.
I feel like that gif of the groundhog where it just keeps zooming in on a horrified expression. And I can't stop saying "tooken" to R, who fortunately also finds it hilarious.

The job I was told they went another way re-routed again. Whatever. I found one at the same place H works that would be excellent. AND I would make more than him, which has literally never been a possibility.
Someone I work with has this awful habit of taking something I have done in Adobe InDesign and then EDITING it in Microsoft Paint. It literally makes my eye twitch and I want to dig my heels in. Thankfully, my boss usually agrees with me and says no, we do it x way and not y.

Editing in paint? oh hell no. What editing can you even do? The most I do in there is crop.

She once spent two full days coloring a map of the state. I spent 30 minutes and did the same thing.
We are getting estimates to rebuild our deck. 1 company told me it was too small of a job for them (the size of my deck is 20x24). The other company who I really like (pending the estimate) is booked until August. I can't believe they're booked solid for the next 6 months - that's just nuts. It tells me a few things that they're good (I've seen their work) and they don't rush a job.
We had someone come yesterday for an estimate - the price was lower than budget but he measured WRONG for the estimate twice and told me I don't need steps on my deck even though that's current code. Yeah sorry you're not getting my business. It worries me when they can't measure correctly.

Yes!! I spend part of my daily workday reading other people's medical records and some of them are just sooooo bad!! I can fully appreciate this!
This was my first day at work since last Thursday. It was an ok day, but I'm still exhausted and wish I could have spent another day at home taking muscle relaxers and my anti-inflammatory. At least I have Friday off so I only have to make it through an event tonight and work tomorrow.
Sorry about all these things going on right now for you, it sounds super stressful. Hoping for good news about your gallbladder & kid's ears. Can you talk to your DH, maybe being more direct will help? I'm the not affectionate one in my marriage and sometime my DH just has to flat out tell him he needs physical affection.
