Said my 4 year old to me when I picked him up from preschool. He is wearing ALL red today. Socks, underwear, shirt, and pants. Apparently that is the only way we can match when dressing ourselves.

Also, he is obviously a 14 year old in a 4 year old's body.

My 9 yr old is the same way. If I don't give him a shirt and pants that are the same color he tells me they don't match.

Instead of matching, you should teach them about complimenting.

Yes! Agree with Eloise. I am trying to teach DD how to match her outfits. She doesn't get it.

I have tried this and he just doesn't get it. If you saw my old ds's dad though, you would understand that fashion sense must be genetic. I think it's a lost cause.
