I thought it would be good to have a place where we can share things that are going on with our writing, whether they be good or bad.
For me, my current struggle is that I could not figure out where I want the story I was going to re-write to go. I've gotten stuck around the same part that I struggled with the first time. I have the conflict and characters figured out, but I don't know where I want to go. Sadly, I've decided to put this on the back burner for now because of it. There is no point in re-writing when I haven't solved the problem.
My recent success is that I am getting somewhere with planning for my big, to-be-co-written project. Additionally, I sat down today to see if I could figure out the other thing I would like to re-write. I've got things planned for two subplots so far and I think I can actually improve on it. One of these projects will likely be my Camp NaNo project for April.

My current struggle is that I haven't opened my current piece since November. LOL. It was my NaNo piece and I just haven't written anything since. I haven't felt inspired at all, but I guess that leads into my current success is that I've started to think about the story again and where I want to take it. I think I'm going to trash the piece and start over from the beginning because it just isn't good.
I plan on doing the re-write for my Camp NaNo piece but it won't be until after we move across the country (in 2 weeks! yikes!)
Can you do Camp NaNo any time? I've never done one before.
eta: sorry I haven't been around. Packing has been consuming my LYFE right now. Hopefully things settle down soon.

I haven't written since ages either. I've planned and Pinned, but no actual writing has been done.
Camp NaNo is officially April & July. You can set your own goal (I think it just has to be above 10k). If we have a bunch of people doing it, we can request them as our cabin mates. You need at least 5 and I think it goes up to 10.
It's nice to hear that somebody wants to do a re-write too. The one I'm working on now was my first two things and it's... not good lol.

What do you look for on Pinterest? Prompts? Ideas? I love pinterest but mostly used it for food and decor but if I could add some writing boards, I'l love that!
I think I could swing an April camp if anyone else is interested! We should be settled by then.
I'm going in to my NaNo for the first time since I finished it. Pray for me. haha
Ts & Ps your way lol. I have found that even when it's bad there's usually enough that I feel went right that it's not terribly discouraging.
As for Pinterest, I use it for writing quotes and ideas for different books. I have a board each for my series, my political romance, and my cloning books. If you want to check it out, *link deleted*.

That is such a good idea! I just followed all of your boards so if you got a weird follow hi, it's me! (I also deleted the link in your OP in case you do want to delete.

Hi! I find it really useful so hopefully Pinning works for you too!
My success is that I finally had a breakthrough on a previous nano and I think I can finally make it work. My struggle is finding the time to write.
Yay! What part were you struggling with? I am also struggling with finding the time and motivation to write, especially during the work week. It's why I'm a little scared to attempt Camp next month.

This week I got half my plot (the political half) plotted and named my major characters. Since they are largely royal from a vaguely placed country, this was actually quite complicated. I now have a notebook with names specified by origin so it should speed things up when I have to name others.
My struggle is that I can not seem to figure out how to start the romance half of the plot. I know I have to do it in the naext couple weeks to integrate it with the other half and expand for Camp NaNo but I'm struggling. I keep telling myself that this is why you pre-write and plot BEFORE attempting to write but it's still frustrating!

Mainly finding the time and the desire to get back on the computer after work. I'm on the computer all day for work and work can be very draining and I find I just want nothing to do with a computer once I'm off.
I really had to force myself to do it some days during Nano.
