You definitely need to lanolize the sbish, and it will take a couple of washes/lanolizations before they're really good to go.

It really depends on how much lanolin is in the wool wash. I have some wool wash that doesn't have much lanolin in it, so I do both every time I wash.

No idea on the CottonBabies stuff. Did it come with info on whether they were lanolized?

I don't wash or lanolize that often (huge stash in rotation), so if it's getting washed, it's also getting lanolized. I ended up getting a combo wool wash/lanolin to make it even easier.
