We don't book our ADRs until May 1st for this upcoming trip, but I think we'll do the Tusker House breakfast. We planned on eating there anyways.

I do like that their is a CS option though!

Stalking the DIS is definitely the best way to see when they open though so you don't have to call 50 times a day!

Possibly a stupid question, is it possible to book these types of dining packages from the MDE app? Do you need to pay anything up front to book?

I don't think you can book the Fantasmic package on the app, but you can on the computer or by calling. I would think ROL would be the same.

Usually its just credit card to hold it, but they don't charge anything unless you no show.

Thanks, good to know I am not missing it in the app.

I was playing around with F! on the app. I can see there are different types of categories for lunch/dinner from the app but I could not figure out how to actually access the package.

There is an Animal Kingdom Special Activities table service listed under dining. You can not click on it yet though. I can not see it in MDE, just the actual website.

I've been watching. Our only opportunity to see it is April 22 - opening night. It's our last night. I'd love to get Flame Tree because I have a Tusker House breakfast reservation earlier in the week that I don't want to give up and I don't want to eat there twice. I'm just really hoping everything goes smoothly opening night because I don't want to end my vacation on a sour note!

I also don't want to have a FP for it because I would like to go to another park that morning!

The only new info was the stadium will hold 5000. 2500 on each side.

That seems soooo small!

How many people typically visit AK on a given day? I think there are supposed to be multiple shows a day. A thread on Dis said F! holds 8000 but I have I idea if that is accurate.

This won't bother me because my kids are older, or we will go as adults. It might work in my favor because the families with younger kids will try to get in the earlier shows and I would prefer something slightly later (and less crowded maybe?).

My kids can go until midnight when entertained so we probably would do the 2nd or 3rd show anyways if we didn't do the dining package for it.

Per the large Dis thread it sounds like the preview parties will be available to book tomorrow. Regular dining packages still seem uncertain.

I've been checking that Dis thread every couple of hours the last few days and it's about to drive me insane. Im hoping to book one of the rumored $50 previews.

I'm about ready to riot because they got me all riled up! Haha. I'm just ready to book it and be done with it! I kind of freak out when I refresh and there are 5 new pages but it's still a whole lot of nothing! I'm just glad I have them to keep me informed!

I would be surprised if it was pushed back given that was an officially announced date and the significance of that specific date.
