swizz, congratulations! Can you tell me more about the cutting of the nipple? DS2 does not want to give up the bottle. We've tried tons of things and nothing has worked. We were content to just leave him on the bottle and wait it out, but he's starting speech therapy soon and I know the therapist does not like that he still drinks from a bottle. I need new ideas!

Cora was obsessed with these cups. When she's teething, she chews on the top so I knew it wasn't the suction she liked (like a pacifier would be) so I just started snipping off little bits each day. Eventually it was basically a big hole (which totally made a mess and she was spilling, but I figured temporary and small price to pay).
Then I started only giving it to her at night (she's not allowed to have it at daycare and I could more easily distract her during the day with good snacks). Then yesterday she just decided she didn't want it for nap so I just didn't offer it at bed and she didn't care.
She did want it this morning right when she woke up, but I was able to distract her with breakfast and then she forgot.
