Purple magicband now an option!

If you are staying on property, purple is now a color option when you customize online.

My girls are currently discussing who gets pink and who gets purple for our annual passes. Haha!

Yes. I just changed mine and DDs to purple. We only had 3 days left to customize.

I really wanted purple for DD1 but instead she got green and I'm stuck with yellow. Grrrr.

You could decorate your band and make it any color or design that you want.

I've decorated mine with nail polish, craft paints, and lately have been using acrylic leather paints.  I've seen people use vinyl decals from magicyourband.com (I think that's what it is called... where you can design your own), and some people glue on crystals to add some sparkle.  I've seen some pretty amazing ones online, but I never see them at the parks.

I'm not sure if this if the company we used or not. It was something similar to this. The girls and I got cute skins for our MB's for our last trip. They held up the whole 9 days!

What designs did you get?  Do you have pictures?  I like to see decorated bands...almost as much as I like decorating them.

I get compliments on my bands, but most people don't even realize that they are all magic bands at first.  I often wear three at a time, because I have a hard time choosing which one I want to wear.  One is The Nightmare Before Christmas, one is Maleficent, and the other is black croc with a chain guard/overlay.  I had a tiki room one (modeled after something at the exit of tiki room at DL), but I lost that one.   

I have one more that I haven't decided how to paint yet.  I thought about doing another one for my H, but he's boring and only wears one at a time anyway, so I will probably do another for myself.

LOL!   I always pick the gray, because even if I didn't decorate them it would be the only color that I would want to wear.   I wear mostly black, and am not a fan of the colors of the bands on their own, but I like to think that I am not boring.   ;p

DH is quieter and claims to be the boring one, but he always chooses a bright colored band.  He said that didn't want his painted, but I did them while he was oot and he loves them.  His bands are vintage Goofy and Stormrider, the ride at Tokyo Disney that is being removed to make room for a Nemo ride. He actually worked on that ride and we got to ride it when we went 6 yrs ago, so he was glad that I thought of that one.
