My baby is not such a baby anymore. This is from her third birthday party about a month back when we were in Illinois and then our wee little family on her actual birthday two weeks ago.

My future niece/nephew. First grandchild on both sides. My sister and BIL are probably the only ones in either family who will have kids, so I'm vicariously very excited for her.

I have 5 nieces and nephews. I've only seen my newest niece twice (she's in buffalo, born after I moved). Once was a month after she was born and the second time was actually a year later at the same time. In that time she had pretty serious surgery, had to wear a helmet for about 9 months and learned how to walk. It stinks to not see the babies that often.

Back in Buffalo I saw my niece and nephew all the time and I saw my Florida girls randomly. Now I see them all randomly and it makes me sad

And here are my nieces and nephews (without new niece, she was 1 1/2 months old at the time of my wedding).

The two holding hands are cousins. My nephew is the brother of the girl in pink. The other two are sisters. This is a year old and they all already look so different. I have to look for a new pic on my computer but I don't have any of them all together.

They wrote my mom's name on the wall during bath time because they were playing with letters and he kept picking up the K so A felt like they should write my mom's name and talk about her.
