Rainforest Cafe at AK?

Anyone been? I was debating this as a breakfast or lunch option. Everyone always talks about Tusker House but not sure we need a character meal.

It's like any other Rainforest Café. There is nothing different about that one. It also does not participate in the meal plan.

What about yak & yeti for lunch?

I have eaten there once - 10+ years ago, but wouldn't again.

We had dinner at Y&Y last time and enjoyed it. That is a possibility.

Some people will do a meal at AKL when they are over in AK already - if timing works out. With kids that age it's a toss up whether it's worth it. Boma's breakfast is so good and we loved our lunch at Sanaa.

No, but the bus is pretty quick.

If you don't have a local RFC then do it. It's fun for kids and the food while just regular chain food is actually pretty good for regular chain food.

Yak and Yeti is good as well. I have eaten there twice but for some reason we haven't been back.

Some folks pair a dinner show with their AK day. So like do a half day from RD to right after lunch at AK leave go back to the hotel for naps and swimming get ready and go over to The Poly for the Luau or FW for HDDR. They compliment each other well as most people see AK as a half day park still ( well until April 22nd when ROL opens....)

What I really want is a ROL dining package. Since there is not much info on that yet I am just trying to figure out our options.

Depending on when we go it may be a half day at the park or a full day.

Unless it's changed since 2013 (very likely) it does participate in the meal plan. We ate there last time we were on the plan (and used it as a TS credit).
