How packed are Epcot's AM EMH? I originally had planned to go to AK on 4/16 but decided against it because AK had EMH that morning. Instead, I booked a 7:45 am Chef Mickey's reservation and then we planned to go to Epcot for the day (park opens at 9.) I just went to recheck something and realized that they changed things and now Epcot has AM EMH that morning. I can't rearrange my Chef Mickey's and Tusker House reservations AGAIN at this point but how packed do you think Future World would be when we get there around 9. There's not much to do and we plan to fast pass Test Track (Soarin is closed) and a couple of others but there really isn't a lot to do in Future World to begin with anyway. I was hoping to try to knock most of it out before heading to the World Showcase around 11/11:30. This is our only Epcot morning. What do you think? It's a Saturday. Should I try to rearrange everything AGAIN or risk it?
If you are going to a park on EMH you need to be there for rope drop, IMO. If you are there by the time it opens for EMH it's worth it b/c the first 2ish hours are great but then it becomes crowded. There's no way I would do Chef Mickey's at 7:45 and then head over to epcot - I assume it opens at 8 for EMH? Where are you staying? Can you do MK that day instead?
Oh gotcha. Then no, I would avoid the EMH park for sure. Have you checked out one of the crowd calendars? That's how we decide where to go on what day.
I'm looking now. I also did when making my original plans and I have all the perfect reservations and it's going to be impossible to get them all when I want them again. I can't believe they just make changes like this. I seriously want to cry! Haha.
Do you think I could keep that 7:45 Chef Mickeys reservation and make it to HS by 9? MK is going to be packed that day.
No. minimum 45-60 to eat. Plus 30 minutes minimum (most likely longer) waiting for a bus and then travel time. Plus trying to get a bus right around rope drop can be crazy.
Also Hollywood studios usually opens around 8:30/8:40 instead of 9. It's just not advertised.

We will have a car. I know it's not ideal, there are just no other Chef Mickey's breakfast reservations available the whole week.

You still won't be done and at HS by 9 unless you rush and probably skip some characters. Also if HS opens at 8:30 like it does most mornings then you are a half an hour behind everyone else. It all depends on what you plan to get done at HS in the morning.

Nope but you could make it to EPCOT shortly after 9am if you can get seated at 745am and leave by 830. Hop on the resort monorail to the TTC and then hop on the EPCOT monorail.
You will be there when the Flower and Garden Festival is going on so there will be other things to do in Future World in the morning while you wait for World Showcase to open up. They usually have a kid area to explore and you can check out the displays.

Epccot was my original plan but I just realized that they changed it to AM EMH a month ago. I'm going to keep checking to see if we can move our Chef Mickey's to another day but we may just risk it with the AM EMH. I'll see what fastpasses we can get and I'll check wait time on my phone for other EMH mornings. It's not really ideal but I don't know what else to do since most of the plans are made.
I looked at Cape May. Thanks all for the suggestion and it still may be a possibility. My only hesitation is that it doesn't look like Mickey will be there and I have a two year old who adores him and I'm kind of hoping he can meet Mickey at the first breakfast so he's not terrified of other characters.
