Another question...my mom is going to pay for one character meal while we're at DW for the girls' bday presents. What's the ONE I don't want to miss? We'll prob do a few, but if you had to pick the best (the one I'm going to have mom give them) which one would you pick?
ETA: DDs will be 8.5, 5 and not quite 3. Except Star Wars, I wouldn't say they're super into anyone in particular.
We really enjoyed the Minnie dinner at Hollywood & Vine – it had Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy in their retro hollywood attire (I think the theme changes seasonally, so in November they'll either still be in Halloween garb, or doing Christmas already), and the characters were interacting with each other and just seemed way more personable that at some of the other character meals we've been to. Donald and Daisy came out and sat down at a table together in the middle of everything and pretended they were having dinner. Mickey was dancing with people in line. It was just lots of fun. The buffet was also really good, but we're easy to please in that department. And then we could pop right out afterward and see the Star Wars fireworks.
My favorites have been Cinderella's royal Table and Akershus. Food wise I really like Tusker House. Dinner at 1900 Park Faire was nice, but not as nice as CRT and Akershus. I didn't like Crystal Palace, Hollywood and Vine, or Chef Mickey's. Is there a specific price range she's looking at? CRT is almost twice as much as some of the others.
Tusker House was great, but our hands down fave was 1900 Park Fare breakfast (I've heard dinner is super good too!) Alice, the Mad Hatter, Tigger, Pooh, and Mary Poppins are at breakfast. The characters are great and the food was delicious!

The Disney Jr. character breakfast at Hollywood & Vine was one of our favorites. They do a great job of engaging the kids throughout the whole meal with dancing & singing. Characters are Handy Manny, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First & Jake.
This sounds bad, but if you aren't having to pay I'd do CRT - so cool to eat in the castle but the food is really hit or miss so you can feel like you overpaid.
For a 1 credit I'd do 1900 Park Fare for Breakfast (Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter/Marry Poppins/Pooh/Tigger) or Dinner (Cinderella/Prince Charming/Stepmother/Stepsisters)
I don't love Tusker as much as everyone else but if you are going to be in AK anyways I'd do it (especially with the new ROL packages)
