30k trail race tomorrow that's basically the reverse of a race I want to do in April, and covers a bit of trail I've never been on, so yay! Mr. Mush got a promotion (pay grade & bonus factor, but same job), so we're doing a nice dinner out that night to celebrate. Then packing packing packing.
Love of my life baby boy born 11/11. One and done not by choice; 3 years of TTC yielded 4 MMC and 2 CPs, through 4 IUIs and 2 IVFs. Focusing on making the world a better place instead...and running.
We have NOTHING concrete planned, which is awesome because we're usually out of town on the weekends. I'm planning to do taxes, clean up a bit... cook? IDK and it's glorious
Meeting H at a new chiropractor's office for his evaluation. Fingers crossed that this guy is good for H. Then we're going to Carrabbas for dinner to use a GC from Christmas.
Hitting the gym first thing tomorrow, then a haircut and errands. Need to do some cleaning and work on our taxes.
Sunday is one last practice before I go to Louisville for Nations.
Saturday I have got to clean and do laundry. I also want to take Arrow to her vet for a quick visit/treat/belly rub. They offer this so the vet isn't always a scary place.
Dream Dinners tomorrow morning, then a four-year old's birthday party.
The rest of the weekend? Making our house not look like a disaster area. We moved in the week before Thanksgiving. We should have it more pulled together by now.
I have a laundry list of things to get done at work today and absolutely no interest in doing them.
My work is hosting a St. Patrick's Day event tomorrow, so I'll work that from 1-6pm. Then I plan to start prepping the house for a baby shower that I'm hosting next weekend. I'd like to get some gardening in, but it's supposed to rain all weekend.
Sat Art Walk - maybe I'll buy something! PaleyFest panel for "Better Call Saul" - actors, showrunners in attendance Friend's bday party Concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall - Jose Gonzales - yay!
Sun Hiking PaleyFest panel for "Blackish" - actors, showrunners in attendance Mass
Tonight I have book club. Haven't seen these people since last spring. And didn't read the book, actually still need to pick up from the library. But no on cares if you haven't read the book. Sometimes it's just about hanging with people who like to read the same things you do.
Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed. - G. K. Chesterton

That's pretty much the mission statement of our book club.

explorer2001, @kirkette, I'm jealous and miss living in Phoenix during Spring Training time. DH is heading out there next week for Cubs spring training.
We don't have any concrete plans this weekend, but tomorrow we need to clean out the garage and figure out how to make our backyard fence code for the pool we want to put in.
Sunday we're going to a brunch that has unlimited champagne, mai tais, and long islands. Lord help me!

I had an unbelievably busy week at work which means an unbelievably busy game of catchup for alterations. I have a new audiobook on my phone, dh will be gone (fewer interruptions!) and a case of Diet Coke (my feel more productive drink of choice.) let's do this.
Ugh. Our church caught on fire yesterday. It is an historic over 100 year old building and the cornerstone of our town. Our girls were baptized there last May, the priest grew up locally and is a great guy. They do a lot of outreach to the migrant workers in our area, helping them to settle and get established in the area and celebrating mass in their language at one of the main mass times each weekend. If anyone of any faith needs anything, this is where they turn. Three fire departments battled the blaze for hours last night. We do not know a cause yet or the extent of the damage.

I'm having a lazy coffee morning with DH. Eventually, I'll start my long run and he'll get his brewing stuff together.
I'm heading to Green Bay tonight to celebrate my sister's bday. My mom's flying through tonight so it should be a fun tonight. Tomorrow is a baby shower for my cousin. We just found out she's in bed rest and won't be able to come but I think she's going to try to Skype in.
DH is out of town. Before work yesterday I cleaned up everything I could think of, so I would come home to a clean, quiet house. It was lovely and this morning has been as well. Sitting on the couch, reading, drinking tea. I may take a bath. My only goal is to stay home and not interact with other humans. That may be boring to others, but my introverted self is so excited!
I am taking DS to a swim lesson evaluation to see which class to register him in after a 6 month break. Then planning to swing my sherwin williams for paint samples to figure out which gray color to have painted next week. And also want to swing by REI for their big sale. DH and I are going to dinner tonight without ds to our favorite gastropub.
That's it! Nothing planned for tomorrow except maybe a trip to the grocery.
