Isn't it so slow? It's only 2:44. Oh my god. I even went shoe shopping because I'm so over work yet still only 2:44.

Are you excited for your date tonight?

I am debating if I should sign up for the 200+ mile bike ride through my company again. Sign up is next week and it usually fills up within 2 hours. It will likely cost me around $500 out of pocket and a week of PTO which realistically I would be cutting it close with everything else I have going on in that month already. However it's the 10th anniversary of it, in Tennessee which should be pretty, and I feel like I will regret not going.

bl , I'm as excited as I get about first dates, lol. I try not to get my hopes up. I haven't been on a first date in ages, probably since last summer. I'm more nervous in that regard. Are my social skills in tact still?? If he's as cool as he seems online, I hope at minimum we can be friends.

The bike trip is in TN you say...then maybe you should and you could see me! But really if you have a ton going on, I wouldn't spend that kind of money to be rushed. You can always come visit and see the scenery.

I am sure your social skills are just fine, and your makeup is on point today which is always a bonus!

They haven't released the route yet, so I have no idea what area it will be in. Registration is this month, but the ride isn't until the end of Sept. If it's in your neck of the woods would definitely love to meet up.  The boyfriend thinks I shouldn't do it, but it's such a feeling of pride and accomplishment to push yourself through it, and it's just one of those things that gives me a good bit of fulfillment each year if that makes sense. I have done it in Oregon and North Carolina so far. ugh I have until next Thursday to decide.

Yes, it is! This week has really worn me out, a few early mornings and busy afternoons trying to keep faculty on schedule in a clinical exam that keeps me here later than I usually am. I'm excited to get out and go see BH and try on the dress from RTR for the wedding we're going to tomorrow night! God, I hope it fits!

Black tie optional. And according to people I work with, the venues are very hoity toity. Which is annoying because isn't every day black tie optional, REALLY? Anyhoo, I'm renting this dress:

I have been messed up on days all this week. I thought Wednesday was Thursday, Thursday was Friday, and when I woke up this morning I swore it was Saturday and I could go back to sleep. And today has been dragging here as well, even though I've been busy. I have more stuff to do, but I don't feel like working anymore.

I'm really excited for my concert tomorrow night, the weather looks pretty promising and my dress fits. The rest of the stuff I ordered for it will be on my doorstep when we get home tonight.

Today sucked! It took me over 2 hours to get to work this morning so I was an hour late. That just caused the domino effect. I'm currently waiting in the nail salon for a manicure since I peeled half of my polish off out of stress this morning.
This weekend is going to be a packing nightmare so I'm not sure why I'm doing my nails, but I think it will make me feel less shitty about today!
