So my two dates were nice and we'll have to see where they go. I'm learning to renavigate the whole dating process mainly because I gave up in December. I find that in my area guys are alway looking to date but are looking at you transparently always searching for something better. I know that sounds mean but it's how I feel and I don't want to be bitter. And now I sound like I'm rambling... Anyways, I'm going out with my girlfriends tonight to a night parade and dinner!

My date last night was meh. Nothing wrong with him, per say, but I was not attracted to him. I didn't find conversation with him to be very engaging or interesting. I felt like I did a lot of the talking to fill space. *sigh* I look forward to the day I meet someone and feel that immediate attraction and interest again.

I had a bizarre dream about my exH, but I think it was good? The gist of the dream was that we were still married but he was living away from me. When I went to him, I found him and his entire family taking family pictures with exH and his girlfriend, who I was apparently not familiar with in the dream. In the dream the girlfriend was really beautiful, seemed very kind, and I was told she was from Louisiana, lol. I flipped out and he tried to make excuses in a weird slow southern drawl (that he does not have in real life). I picked up his laptop and went outside and he freaked out. I raised it over my head and threw it into the street, where it smashed into thousands of glass pieces littering the street with shine. He kind of fell upon the shards and I went back to his family and yelled at them for supporting exH cheating on me. The girlfriend took my hand and gave me a big hug and then I woke up.

DS is going to my parents to stay for 2 nights. This is the first time he's ever had a sleepover away from home (he's 4.5). He's so excited and it makes me happy to see. I'm also looking forward to the break. I've been so incredibly stressed since H told me he wants a divorce. I can't believe it was just a week ago - it feels like a lifetime. I have a lot to do to separate things financially, find a lawyer, look for a counselor, etc. but I haven't had the energy to do most of it between work and taking care of DS.

I slept late and now I'm making breakfast. We have to pack this weekend, big time. The movers are coming next Sunday to take our stuff. Next weekend will be super busy, so most of it needs to be done today and tomorrow. I'm overwhelmed and don't even know where to begin!!

I finally slept!!! I'm really shaken up about all the Trump stuff. His rally on right now is so frightening. I'm just gonna watch some Gilmore Girls and read today. I want hibernate.

Trump canceled his rally here for tomorrow. Now I don't have to worry about going downtown tomorrow!

Time-wise you are at the point you just need to finish rooms. So pick one and work your way through it methodically. I'm always surprised how much is in a bathroom, so I recommend getting that done. Then empty the tops of closets. Shoes can go in the bottom of wardrobe boxes. Do you have to empty dresser drawers? Now is the time to start wearing limited choices in clothes and get clothes packed. 
Label the boxes well, not just "kitchen" but "kitchen, flatware, toaster, wooden spoons" so that unpacking can be a little logical.

Today I'm chilling with my new nephew, my sister and BIL, and my parents. I think I have aunt-ing down. Cuddle with him until he starts crying, then hand him off to my sister. :-P

@blueyes623 I can't believe your move is so close, seems like just last week you were just thinking about it. Sorry you're so overwhelmed, but it will be over before you know it.

I woke up early to take my car in for a brake change only to find out that it didn't need brakes even though they grind and squeak sometimes. He said there is still 50%+ of the pads there, so yay for honest mechanics. I walked a half mile down the road to a little diner place for breakfast and had a random guy in his 40s ask if I would like company. I am not 100% sure whether he was just being nice or hitting on me lol.

TR (or anyone else who lifts heavy) I've seen you post about doing NROLW before and I am starting up with strong lifts 5x5 because I used to do weights with xh and enjoyed it and am really not sure why I stopped. I never did heavy on squats since my knee injury/recovery was still new. I lifted last week with 50lbs and holy shit my neck area where the bar was resting is so sore. I can't imagine how it will be when I start increasing weight, is this normal, will it go away?

Normal. You will kind of get used to it, but I'd recommend wrapping a towel around the bar or putting one folded up on the back of your neck to help prevent it. There are also pads you can get that go around the bar.

ETA: and if you're lifting at a gym, they will probably have those pads laying around somewhere. Or don't be afraid to take it off a bar or squat machine not being used and put it on the bar you're using.

I'm at the mall, sitting in the lounge area having ice cream. I'm huge, I need a break, lol.

I started chatting with an older woman who I assumed was watching the 4 children running rampant around the lounge area. Guys, these kids have been here for 30 mins with no adult watching them in a very busy mall. I am so alarmed, who does that? They are about 3 years old with one 6 month old sitting in a stroller sleeping.

I'm not kidding. I'm going to ask for security while the older woman stays there.

I keep getting these bursts of energy to start packing, then I start looking around and just overwhelmed!  My mom and her cousin are driving down Thursday - Sunday.  They'll get my ass in gear and we'll have everything either donated, packed to take with me or packed for her to store!  Good luck this next week!!

I can't wait until I can start dating again. It has been a long time, but it's one of the things I am looking forward to doing after my next (hopefully last) surgery. I can't wait to have the option of going out on the weekends.

Right now I am focused on taking care of my mental and physical health. The cute PT that has the sister with SB, started talking to me while I was doing my exercises the other day. Oh and he's not my PT!

It is so overwhelming!!!!  I did the kitchen today....it took over 8 hours and I'm still not done.  I did it without J's help because I'm the cook and I wanted to purge as well.  I kind of wish I asked for help, but then again I probably would have ended up aggravated by his messy packing.  My back hurts and I'm just frustrated already.   I'm glad you'll have help.   You're heading out the 1st, right?  It's coming so soon!!!!  
It's like I'm preparing, but it still somehow seems surreal.

I can't believe it either!!! It's weird---even though I've made all of these preparations and I'm packing, it still seems kind of surreal/far fetched.  I can't really picture what it's going to be like to live in another city and work at another job.  I guess that's because I've never done it before.  I'll tell you though, I'll be glad when the transition is over.  This is rough.  I can't wait to be able to enjoy the pool at our new apartment.

What happened? That's insane!

A lady came over while I was getting security (45 minutes that the older lady said of seeing the kids unattended) so they met her there grabbing the stroller with the baby sleeping. She was annoyed to be talking to them but to my frustration, they just let her walk away. In reality, she could have been a stranger taking the baby & kids. They should have at least sternly spoken to her about keeping them safe...or have called DCS so they could follow up to see if these kids are safe otherwise. She was mad and stomped off for even being bothered. :/
