Sunday Randoms: DLST Edition

Good Morning!

I hate losing the hour since I slept until 8 AM, but it's really 9 AM. Blah! I do love the fact that it will still be daylight while I'm driving home from work at night.

I have plans to clean out my closet and get rid of some stuff, but this couch is cozy and the weather is cloudy so being productive today doesn't look very promising!

I'm finally going to get some exercise in today and I can't wait. Then more writing.

My sister and BIL are going to leave me with the babe tonight and they're taking an hour to go out on their own.

I'm taking her easy this morning. My daughter and I are munching on breakfast and watching my little ponies, after reading most of an ivy + bean book. I would like to do some yard work. Maybe go on a hike. Or shop. I dunno!

I hate daylight savings time, it makes me feel like a bum for still being in bed at 9:30, but my body thinks it's 8:30!

Yesterday I packed about 90% of the kitchen.  Today I'm going to attack my clothes.  Also on the list is the bathroom and large hall storage closet.  I don't think I'm going to make it if I don't call out one day this week.  This all crept up on me earlier than I thought due to the fact that our stuff is leaving a week before we are.  Eeeeek.  
I'm currently being lazy on the couch.  I need to get moving!!!

It's raining right now, but once it passes I need to go for a run. My bathroom could use a good deep cleaning, too.

The next two weekends are going to be busy, so I really should deep clean my room this weekend and not spend any $$, but I really want to go out and eat and drink and be merry with friends. But alas, that costs money.

I'm gonna get my house in order, laundry, and pack. I have to go back easy Wednesday-Monday and I am NOT looking forward to it

I grabbed breakfast and walked around with two friends this morning and now im drinking a Bloody Mary pool side. It's cloudy but still in the 80s so it feels lovely.

Im enjoying the downtime this weekend because my bestie from texas will be here tues and wed and we are doing two busy days at Disney and I am working Sat to save pto.

DH and I got home yesterday after being gone for 3 weeks, DH mostly for work, and me, taking advantage of him being gone to take a trip. SS#1 and SDIL are staying here, so they were here without us for that entire time. Jokingly, we told them not to have any parties while we were gone, and no sex in our bed. I'm sure they didn't have sex in our bed, but we're not sure about a party. I turned the water to the toilet in our room off before I left (because we always turn the water off when we go out of town), and yesterday after we got home, I went to use the bathroom, and the toilet was obviously used, and the tank was empty. Really, that's a minor issue, but they didn't really take care of the place. It doesn't appear that anything except dishes was done, and the electric bill for that time was $50 more than it usually is-for half the usual number of people! 
I seriously seriously can't wait until they move out! It hasn't been as bad as some of the horror stories I've heard about having family members living with you, but it's soooooo time for them to go!

Also I'm still watching Gilmore Girls. I've determined I hate Lorelei and Rory but love all of the other characters. Is this just me?

Okay good! This makes me feel so much better. I love all of the other characters! Even Richard and Emily. But uggg Lorelei and Rory are so irritating!

Yes! I was just thinking about this man thing. They are such takers! They never really do anything that great for whoever they are dating except put them through the ringer! Kirk kills me too, in a good way. Hell I even like Paris!

I ordered a new floor for my upstairs bathroom. It's a laminate that almost had the feel of ceramic tile, but it's actually a vinyl and snaps together like pergo flooring. I also ordered the laminate flooring for the downstairs. I was going to go with the pergo max brand, but found a slightly cheaper brand that doesn't lose a lot of the quality. I decided to keep the kitchen floor as is. After my stepdad measured, it ended up being about 75 square feet more than what I originally had thought, so I decided to save some money and skip the kitchen. It should be in in about 2 weeks or so. I'm excited to pull up this carpet and get moving on the floor.

We held a cookie booth at Walmart today. We sold another 419 boxes! That's about another 60/girl who was there, which puts DD1 at about 400 boxes herself! We lucked out on the weather to as it just started to sprinkle as we finished loading the car up at the end. We have another one on April 2nd, but this time it's inside the local mall. Being inside will be so nice!

I just had to wash dishes in the sink in the garage since mom somehow managed to clog up the kitchen sink. Between that and my toilet going all wonky this week I think that the plumbing is out to get me!

DST means that instead of a NINE hour time diff. bt the bf and I, it's now EIGHT hours.
