Yeah, I woke up just so completely out of it this morning. Like, you know when your eyes burn like hell and you have no idea what's going on? Like that. Ilya's crabby and wants to go to bed and it's only 5:30. That one measly hour totally fucks everyone up.

I honestly don't see the big deal about the time change and maybe I'm the only one. It is only an hour. We deal with bigger time changes when we travel (and yes I have a kid). I Could see how it may take a couple of days to switch over but other than that I don't get the big deal everyone makes out of it . I remember growing up my mom would complain about the time change basically until the next time change. Good thing she never traveled across time zones. We were up at 630 this morning, skied, came home, and kid went to bed at 7 like usual. Getting up early pretty much gets her right on the new schedule.

Yeah, I tend to agree. Granted this is only our second time change, but the last was uneventful and this one seems to have been too. We travel a lot though. DS is currently on his 5th trip since being born.
This is the only reason I'm dreading our trip to Arizona this summer. I went last September and never adjusted to the two hour difference. (I also went in February and one hour was no big deal) Now I will have my kids along and I'm sure they will be up at 5:30 every fucking morning. My friends have a pool but they probably wouldn't appreciate cannonballs at that time of day.
I was doing fine until I couldn't fall asleep at my usual bedtime. I ended up staying up almost 2 hours later than I usually go to bed, and then had a really hard time getting up this morning. I hope by the end of the day I'm tired enough that my body resets to my regular schedule.
