I am trying to get back to clean eating this week. Last week I went a bit overboard with my treats, I had 4 cupcakes for H's bday from Friday to Sunday. I also was sick, and only worked out once. My weigh in day is Tuesday, and I think I will have managed to stay the same or possibly lose 1 lb, we will see. Since Jan 25, I am down 17.5 lbs.
I called and scheduled an appointment with a psychologist this morning. This one didn't require a separate intake call before agreeing to see me, so I was able to schedule right away and my appointment is in four weeks.
1. Call our counselling service. I have to do an in-take call which sounds super unappealing. 2. Exercise daily, alternating days of pilates & full body workout. And make sure I do my physio yoga 2x/day! 3. Be more carefree!! Oh if someone can get me a super good quote/meme for that to motivate me I'd love it.

Ok, so last week was rough for me on several fronts. I found out some disappointing news at work. I found out disappointing news at the doctor. I got sidelined from Crossfit for <4 weeks. Add all that to 5 headache days and I was feeling pretty crappy. Not this week. I'm going into Monday taking control of what I can -- that's all I can do, right?
Here's the plan -
1. Knock out my work to-do list 2. Sign-up for the work gym (elliptical and spin class is better than nothing, right?) 3. Complete my talent profile at work
MrsMB - are you going to harass us to make sure it gets done? haha

@melsamooney everyone was really sweet and they took me to lunch. They surprised me with a big project right off the gate though so k felt really frustrated about that. Overall, it was ok and DD seemed to have done well I'm sorry today sucked for you (

I've become stressed/overwhelmed recently and tired and cranky...I really want to just chill out, relax, and be a little calmer this week! I really need to work on not letting small, insignificant things bother me.
I need to get on track with my health. I eat terribly and need to start eating less/better. I also need to get more active. We went for a walk Sat which was nice but I need to make more time to do things like that. I really want to try working out in the morning but I haven't been dragging myself out of bed early enough. I'm sick of being exhausted but the only way it will (hopefully) change is if I do something about it!
For those of us needing to calm down (myself included), lets try breathing in on the count of 5, holding it for 5, then breathing out on the count of 5. I feel like focusing on the count is helping me center. I've been praying to calm down the last little but myself too...

I do the breathing thing a lot too. Focusing on the counting helps take my mind off of whatever triggered a panic attack. Sometimes before bed I'll meditate by just sitting on the bed and focusing on my breathing. It really helps me relax, especially after a stressful day!

H talks me through my panic attacks with a "breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth," mantra. It's amazing how much focusing on your breathing can help.

I set out workout clothes, put the workout DVD on the TV stand, cleaned up toys so I have room, and got things ready to make a smoothie in the morning. Someone drag my ass out of bed at 6 so it wasn't for nothing! Haha.
