I agree with jennuinne. But I am too sentimental to ever change my ring, I love my ring though.

I couldn't because I am too sentimental. I picked the ring I knew I loved and would want to wear forever. I've thought about adding to it later and we will see.

Well, if H has no feelings about it either way, I'd keep the stone and see about different settings since a) you're not in love with it and b) the band isn't fitting properly, then I don't see a problem in getting a different one. I'm sentimental, but it's the symbolism that means more than it being the same physical lump of metal as was placed on my hand in a ceremony.
