Duh, so I just realized I can't actually make a second one because I'm out of flour. I will likely buy flour and make more of these tonight though.
More coffee. I need more coffee.
I can't take recipe advice from someone who runs out of flour. Flour is my entire life.
This is a really dumb question, but what do you store your flour in? Flour messes make me twitch. I want something wide enough that I can put my hand, whilst holding a full measuring cup, down in the container, but still have room to get my other hand in with a spoon to scoop. That way no flour gets all over everything. I feel like I need something that is 10x10x? to make me happy.

They're not pretty, but they stack easily and you can easily dump a 10-lb bag of flour in the largest one. And they don't have those stupid air tight gasket lids that blow powder all over the place.
Wait, you can actually fit 25 pounds in the big one. Even I don't buy flour in those quantities, although I may start now that I can store it in one container! Then there's the small matter of lifting it onto the counter...

PERFECT! Thank you so much! I don't need fancy, just function.
I keep my flout in a wide mouth extra large jar with a screw on lid. I don't remember where I bought it, but I have used it for six years and only have spills when I add the flour too quickly. It holds about fifteen pounds of flour which is more than sufficient because if I buy the 25 lb bag, I have tons of baking planned.

I read the name of this out loud and my office mate told me to stop talking dirty to her. I am all over this. My H the food snob will side-eye the hell out of me but I don't care.
**debbie downer post** Is 1 minute enough time to thoroughly cook the flour? I once heard that most of the salmonella poisoning from things like cookie dough, etc. actually come from the raw flour. So I've been scared to eat anything like this since.
ETA: Or maybe it is E. Coli. Whatever it is, there are bad things in raw flour.

It was E. coli and possibly the flour. But you would be cooking it, even if it was just for 2 minutes. You'll be fine.
Made it. Waiting for it to cool down. I didn't use chocolate chips since I only had white chocolate and I got nervous. And I used almond extract because I couldn't find the vanilla I just bought last week...
I'm excited.
ETA : chocolate chips would def. make it better and the almond extract flavor was a bit odd, but OMG so good!!
