Friday Randoms

My date last night was awful. First, he was super late. Secondly, he reeked of alcohol. He tried to say that he had had just one shot, but I could literally smell the alcohol wafting off of him. After a few minutes I told him it was late and that I needed to be going. He asked me to please sit at the bar with him. Nope. He asked if we could go for a walk. Nope. Then he offered to drive us to a different bar. Ha, absolutely no way am I getting in the car with a drunk driver. I literally probably was in his presence for only 10 minutes. I parked right by the door and when I said I was leaving, he leaned over and tried to kiss me! I was like, "No, stop. STOP." He followed me out to my car and was like, "Just 1 kiss!" I said no and got in my car and immediately blocked him.

On another note, my work dinner went fantastically! The community is really starting to take to me and it's great.

I deleted all my dating stuff. I had a few more weeks on match, but I am done. The nail in the coffin was finding out yesterday that some dude I talked to on the phone last week (that vented for more than 30 minutes about everything in his life - that I hung up on) was arrested twice in the last year and a half for threats, trespassing and assault on a female. I was a little freaked out that he found me on fb this week and sent a friend request, so I've blocked him and put all of that on lockdown too. Ugh.

I had a dream last night where I was talking with a friend about a person I had hooked up with. When I woke up, I had to really think if I had actually ever hooked up with that person. I don't think I had...I think maybe I hooked up in a dream, so then my dream self remembers the hooking up.

That makes no sense. But it was weird.

I unhid my POF profile yesterday and I'm about ready to hide it again. About 95% of the messages are just "Hi, how are you?", "Do you want to chat?", "You're beautiful"... This is one of the reasons I hid my profile in the first place. I even put a note in my profile to intrigue me if they were to message me, not just say "Hi, how are you, etc..." because it was happening so often. Obviously 95% of them aren't reading my profile or they just don't care. Why do I want to waste my time on them then. Frustrating.

OMG. The date from last night just called me from a different number. I had no idea it was him since it popped local...I figured it was my boss or one of my coworkers. I just hung up on him and blocked the number. I'm going to send a text not to contact me again, although I'll have to unblock him to do so. If I immediately reblock him, will he see the text?
