Weekend Randoms

I'm at work, but I'm leaving early today. A friend from my hometown is coming to stay with me tonight. It's a bit of a whirlwind since she'll be here less than 24 hours, but I'm excited nonetheless.

There was a big delay this morning on my way to work, so I stopped by a local gas station to grab breakfast. One greasy breakfast sandwich later and my stomach is killing me. But the family there is so nice!

Oh, sorry, but I'm about to brag for a minute. The scale this morning told me I hit my lowest weight since 2012! Yay! I almost can't believe it. Seeing that weight is a good incentive to keep running! Although now I need to NOT eat things like greasy breakfast sandwiches and the like so I can lose another 10lbs by summer...but I want all the bad foods.

I am at work today too. Saturdays are slow there are only 10 people in the building, so I am doing things like my expenses, cleaning out my email box, some training I have been putting off and other things that weren't urgent but suck up time and needed to be done.

I'm conferencing today. It's likely my final academic conference which is exciting and sad.

That's great glitzyglow. I hear you on the bad for you food. I just had a donut with lunch. Ooops.

I got a haircut today, and I'm seriously considering starting to color my hair - a new color to go along with my new life.

The responsible side of me will probably wait until we sell our house, but I am excited about it.

Today is my dad's birthday. We're meeting later for dinner and then going to a movie tomorrow. He's going to bring bacon wrapped filets for dinner after the movie.

Awesome glitzyglow! My weekend is pretty quiet, I should probably walk Buddy, but I can't seem to far off the couch.

Gah, BF is SUCH an introvert and I still struggle with not taking it personally.

Went for a quick run today, going to a soccer game tonight, still pre-season, but should be a fun game!

I've started biting my nails again and I need to STOP. It's my worst habit.

I got my brows threaded today at my usual place but it was a different lady than I usually see (I usually see the owner) and she was such a bitch. I'm stewing, she was so rude. She kept commenting on my brows "oh my GOD look at all your hairs!" Loudly. Why do you think I'm here? And then she just walked off at the end, I was sitting in the chair just like um, are we done?
It hadn't even been that long since my last threading, apparently I'm just a hairy ape.
Also, I hate the shape she gave me. And I'm going to tell the owner next time I see her.

Wow, that is just bad business. I'm sorry that that happened to you! I'd be calling the owner asap rather than waiting in hopes that she speaks with her pronto. You can't be treating people like that, so rude!

Just when I think xh couldn't be more of an asshole, he proves me wrong.  My daughter is invited to her best friend's birthday party that is on his weekend, he won't take her. 

I offered to take her and drop her off at his house after, nope.

She's so sad
