So we're flying in a day early for our Disney Cruise and I'm looking around for where to stay that night. Ideally, I'd like something that includes picking us up at MCO and then shuttles us to the port the next morning.
I've looked at the Radisson, Courtyard, other random hotels. I suppose I can't really go wrong with any of those, but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask you here!
well, poo. i was hoping for a decent hotel near the port for the night before - we're going to WDW after the cruise and don't really want to spring for another disney hotel for one night that we won't be able to really enjoy anyway.

We actually stayed at the Hyatt inside MCO, and then used Spaceport Transport to get to Port Canaveral. The hotel is a little pricier, but I loved getting off the plane and walking right to the hotel, rather than gathering up our luggage, finding a shuttle, riding the 30+ minutes to PC, all after a long day of travel. The kids thought staying right in the airport (and having a room that looked into the terminal) was the coolest thing ever.
The next day, Spaceport picked us up right at the hotel and took us to the terminal--stopping at Publix so we could pick up a few last minute things on the way. You could also take the Disney bus to the cruise terminal but we did Spaceport b/c 1) it was way cheaper for a family of 5 than the bus and 2) my 23-month old (at the time) could be in a carseat--he didn't do well sitting on the MDE going to Disney a few months before and I was still traumatized.
We stayed at the Radisson just last week, is definitely stay there again. The pool was awesome and the rooms were updated nicely. We took the shuttle (it is run by Cocoa Beach shuttle) from mco and paid $6 for transfer to cruise terminal.
Totally late on this, but my grandparents used to live by Port Canaveral. We stayed at the Radisson a few times. No complaints! We used the shuttle too.
