I think Disney has officially lost their mind. Some rides/characters and ice cream for $149/person for 3 hours? Basically in the middle of the night? No thanks. We spend tons on our Disney trips and pay for lots of extras, but this has even gotten too crazy for me!
More Magic in Less Time
Treat yourself to a classic Magic Kingdom experience—complete with select attractions, ice cream novelties and more.

Also, I did email Disney about being upset about the rumored resort fees and they actually called me to discuss it. Twice. I missed both phone calls because I was sleeping, but she left a pretty detailed message stating they want opinions of repeat Disney customers. So I would definitely email and tell them they're getting ridiculous and cheapening the brand with their antics.
Did you email George Kalogridis' s office? They are great at getting back to people (also great at blowing smoke up your ass, but not doing anything lol). We basically spammed his email after they removed the photographer's from Bippity Boppity Boutique. I was on the phone with one of his assistants for like a half an hour being like "do you seriously not even read any of the surveys or visit any disney message boards and see that people are freaking out?"
We can be suckers with our disposable income but I just don't understand to whom this would appeal. It's so late and so expensive for what you get. I'd rather hire a VIP tour guide during the day.

So it seems like they're adding extra magic hours, but making you pay for it instead. Though I guess this opens it up to people staying offsite, but I can't imagine it would really appeal to many.
We've been talking about this on my agency FB page, everyone thinks it's nuts. All of these increases while they are cutting CMs and experiences are not going over well
I don't understand this at all. I hope that it doesn't go well and that this isn't the beginning of the end of EMH like some are speculating. I am really becoming discouraged lately due to all the price increases, things they are taking away and more and more talk about adding more fees. I really enjoy staying on property, but their prices are already insane for what you get.
It's basically the return of e ticket nights right? Like at 1 million times the cost??
That's what I was going to say! I have to go over to the Disboards and see if anyone is happy about this offering. How many people are they limiting it to?

Did anyone ever do the original e ticket nights? How much were they? I have heard people rave about them, but 150.00 for like 3 hours is insane.

I guess this would attract the convention goers or Universal people who still want to go to MK. If they truly limit the number of guests to 5,000 and you didn't have young kids with you (and disposable income!) then it might make sense.

Disbosrds might spontaneously combust because people are so angry about it.
