The day before I went into labor, all I had the energy to do was lay on the couch. I skipped the gym, skipped the errands I had planned to run, could barely talk myself into making food. I just felt exhausted. I went into labor the next morning. Of course, it was likely just coincidence. Thinking good thoughts for you!
I actually had a big burst of energy before labor. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I think exhaustion is mostly a sign that you are 38+ weeks pregnant. Though everybody is different, and I think any change in how you have been feeling can indicate that labor is imminent.
My good friend went into labor at 38w5d. The day before, she was so exhausted she took a 4-hour nap in the middle of the afternoon. So... maybe? Fingers crossed for you (if you do want it to happen soon!).

Yes - all of this. I had been nesting like crazy, but the day I went into labor I was so exhausted I could hardly peel myself off of the couch.

The day before I went into labor, I was completely exhausted. I had to meet my DH at a furniture store, and I could barely walk from the parking lot to the front door. DH asked if we could go out to dinner after, and I almost cried. I told him we had to go home so I could get back to the couch.
I'm with you - looking for any signs that labor is impending! I am 40w1d and feeling pretty great. Some minor cramping but nothing timeable. I have noticed the past week or so I have been sleeping MUCH better than I did most of the third tri.

I don't know. It's all a blur.
But I will say that as an anal type a first time mom, I wanted to do it "right" so I really tried to nap in early labor, and was able to, and it was the best thing ever once labor got going and I needed all the energy I could get. So don't be like "I'm having contractions I can't nap". Go nap. Even if it is just zoning out between contractions, do it while you can!
