Where do I want H to take me for date night? It's my birthday dinner. I would like to stay north and not a national chain. I live on the West Cobb line.
I was just in Atlanta and my favorite meal was at Poor Charlie's. If it's not in your geography, make an exception. Look at this dessert - It was amazing!
I think it has newer owners. It's Gabriel's now. I just looked them up. It gets a big fat no for date night. That's family night and kids eat for $.99. I think we will try them for breakfast on a Saturday

We went for Valentine's. You can really not go wrong there. And if it wasn't Pollen Spooge Season I'd recommend sitting outside. But no. That is not a good idea for the rest of the season.

But north of you? Henry's is always good
I park my car in the garage. It was nice and shiny today. Then I went to the store. I may sneeze my head off going into the garage tomorrow. It's almost green.
Gunshow, Bacchanalia, and Canoe are going to be difficult to get reservations for on short notice. Ditto the other recs for Table & Main, Little Alley, Aspen's, and Foundation Social Eatery. I'd add Salt Factory and Stoney River (for steak).
I think I've eaten at all of these places for my birthday or anniversaries...
