"You. You and your crazy life. You and your geographic anomaly. You and your drunken lesbianic ways and terrible navigational skills." - ProfArt and her holy baby
I am slightly ashamed to admit that my three-year-old had to walk me home (across the street and two houses up) once, while my husband judged me.
This happened to me! I had two afternoon margaritas with neighbors in the sunshine. To this day I think I was slipped something. I was barely walking. Aside from that day, my answer would still be yes but that day was rough.

Not really. Sort of. H and the kids came to pick up a girlfriend and myself because we went to an event. This was planned. We weren't falling down but should not have been driving, and weren't.
I was drunk one time during wine tasting all day in California last summer (with SIL, away from David, neither of us were driving or had our kids). I wasn't crazy or anything but I was wayyyyy more drunk/buzzed than I think I'd ever been during his waking hours. Not my finest moment. Day drinking fucks me UP.
Oh, Nonny , that photo is fabulous! I'm pretty sure we had the same macrame plant hanger! Your mom is adorable.
I reminded her of that pic this past summer and she started laughing hysterically. LOL!
I think she made that plant hanger in a class she took on macramé. I don't really remember much about it, except that when she finally took it down to get rid of it, it was so full of dust that she threw it out instead of trying to sell it at the garage sale.
My kids see me buzzed plenty. I have been drunk before. Certainly not something I wanted to happen. One of those didn't eat enough/sleep enough/ normal amount of drinks got the best of me moments.
Yeah, we had the macrame owls with the wooden beads for eyes and lots of plant hangers and "wall art". Latched rugs, too. Classy!
We had other macramé with wooden beads, but I don't remember any owls. I also recall a big vase filled with dyed brown, orange, and yellow pampas grass. That was even worse as far as dust (and falling apart) when it was finally time for that to go.
God, all that brown 70s decor. My parents' pics from that era look identical. It gives me the heebie jeebies.
LOL! Did you also have a heavy wood coffee table, and end tables with lion faces carved into the wood? Oh, or chains? I feel like one of our end tables had decorative chains on the wood for some reason.
On one of the worst days I've had, I drank a lot and am not proud of my parenting that day. Not that I did anything bad, just drank too much and didn't pay enough attention to my kiddo. I still feel like shit about it.
Otherwise, I haven't been drunk, but probably s little tipsy a few times.

Yes all three have seen me drunk/stoned. They've only seen me drunk a handful of times but certainly more than once. I'm a medical marijuana patient so I don't know if you're counting that as "stoned" or not since its medication for me.

I don't have kids, but I do have several acquaintances who rely on their 17-20 y.o. 'children' to be the DD for them and their friends every weekend under the statement that the children own it to them.
I judge them.
I don't really go around saying "I wouldn't do that if I had kids" , but it would be a sad shameful day for me when I had to call my 19 y.o to come get my ass at the bar.

Yes, I'd count this, same for if you have an RX for Xanax/Valium,pain killers (which I do, but they don't make me feel stoned anymore, but when I first took them, I certainly couldn't drive if I took one), etc...anything that would impair you or prevent you from using heavy machinery or driving.

Once in high school, my best friend and I had to go pick up my dad, her dad, and our other friend's dad at a bar, lol. This wasn't a regular occurrence though, so it was just funny and not a big deal.
To answer the poll, no kids, but my dog has seen me drunk a LOT.
