Well, we made it to NC!!! The past day is a blur! we left NY at 3 am Monday morning and arrived around 2pm. We did get caught in some patches of horrendous rain which slowed us down, but the sun did show its face! The cats were pretty horrible with meowing almost the entire trip, but they survived. The bolder one is acting a bit skittish and the scaredy cat finally exited her carrier and jumped in bed with us an hour or two ago. I don't think she's eaten yet. Once the movers come with our stuff (sometime between now and Sunday), all of the craziness will be done. We got into our new apartment and it's great!!! Parking is easy and free, the pool and fitness center (that I really need to use!) are so new and nice. there's a huge mall very close and we walked to a great burger place for dinner and beer last night. Then we passed out around 10. Now I'm up and J's still sleeping. We have no furniture besides the air mattress that I'm on! Lol I think I'm going to like it here.
This made me laugh, because after living in the city where parking is a premium, I can feel how awesome this little perk is. LOL
LOL It really is!!! At home parking was like preparing for battle. If you left to go out to dinner, you'd have to park many blocks away upon your return. At my job in Brooklyn, I paid $210 a month for parking. This is fabulous!!! Parking everywhere!!!! FREE!!!!

Did your bf find a job?
Not yet. He's a teacher, so it's likely that it will be for the new school year.
