Very interesting, thanks for sharing! I think I'll do A&E with the toddler one day while DH/DS do Soarin and get a rider swap. Then on day 2 we all do the new Frozen ride? I wonder how TT lines will change, if at all.

Thanks for sharing! All I care about is getting a FP for the frozen ride. I booked our trip yesterday. If I don't get one, there's a good chance I'll cancel it for this year (already went in Feb, and live in FL).
I don't want to start a new thread for this because it seems lame.
I haven't actually canceled my wdw portion yet, because I'm trying to be levelheaded. And I'll see how the changes affect things over the next month or two.
And my 180 days was today, and I made ADR's. Lol
I'm so lame.
Ya I booked my trip yesterday, after complaining the night before. Lol
I hope Norway opens "early". People are already in the area with Akershus having pre-RD ADRs. It does not seem to make sense to wait until 11.
On that note, why does World Showcase open at 11?
I would think it would almost have to open early. Demand is going to be ridiculous and that's not a spacious area.
It opens later for staffing reasons. It doesn't naturally get busier until later in the day, so they can save money from staffing it in the morning. But this might change that.
But it's Disney, and they aren't making sense lately. So probably not.
I figured it was to save money, but was not really sure. Did it ever open at the same time?

I honestly have no idea. Not since 2012, but I have no idea if it opened earlier during the 90's. I kind of feel like that was the hey day of WDW. Or at least that's how it sounds when you hear people talk about it.
I worked at EPCOT back in the 90s. World Showcase has always opened later (11am) than the park and Future World closed earlier (7pm). We were told in orientation that it was done this way because WS is primarily a dining/shopping area and FW is mainly attractions. WS opened at lunchtime and FW closed in early to encourage people to head to WS for dinner and then Illuminations.

we watch frozen almost daily so I'm just totally screwed. Haha!
And my girls are 4 and 2. I have like another 10 years of frozen. Plus we might have another kid. I already try to hide the movie but they find it on the DVR.
