I haven't used this feature yet. Can someone explain how it works?

Also, I need some people to friend. Is there a way to change my name? Right now it's my real name. My last name is too uncommon and you'd all be able to find me IRL.

I am sure you can change your name on bn site. I know for lending books it goes by email. You can also check out a group on fb. www.facebook.com/groups/NookBookExchange/ You can post books that you would like to get or ones you have available to lend.
