In the middle of another stressful work week, I'm starting to think about where I want to go for my 50th birthday in 2 years. Spam me with ideas. All options are on the table unless life or limb would be in imminent danger

RockNVoll, Cuba is coming more and more on my radar. My Nana and her mom used to sail down there out of Miama (obv pre-Castro days). I would actually love to do that with my mom, and I think she'd be up to it. DH would have a heart attack.

Don't know about with/without S. We were talking about maybe going somewhere OOT for Thanksgiving that year. It's all still in the dream stages.

Not to mention that year is my parents' 75th birthdays, 50th wedding anniversary, and MIL turns 70.

You parents are in CA, right? Could you combine a visit with them for their bday/anniversary and take advantage of being on the west coast? Leave S with them and do Napa? Hawaii or somewhere else in the Pacific?

My latest proposal for their birthdays/anniversary is to visit them anyway. It will likely end up being that, as I have CA family members who will.not.travel and are close enough to my parents. I want something for meeeee, LOL
