Can you summarize the dis boards discussion? When is this happening? We are staying at AKL in June. Is there something gun special for AKL people?

It is supposed to start April 22nd. There were rumors that dining packages (like Fantasmic!) were going to be released earlier this month. However they have yet to be released.

They still have not updated park hours or given show times. Fast passes are also not available yet. There were potentially going to be preview parties but it seems like those have been cancelled.

There was a post today in the massive Dis thread that made it sound like there might be some info released this weekend. Basically no one knows if the show is still starting April 22nd or not. The speculation is there are technical difficulties but since the 22 is a date published all over the Disney site for AK after dark they going to try and meet that. However FP and dining may not be available until later.

I would hope the show would be running by May, but not sure about FP and dining. I would hope by June all of those things should be available.

I don't think there is any benefit to staying at AKL other than AK being close by, but someone correct me if I am wrong.

What's the latest? I use to check that thread daily when I woke up but got so sick of it. I was really hoping to book one of the previews on April 16 or 17 but have given up all hope. Our only shot is April 22 and I don't think I want to give up my last night for this.

I hate how long the threads get over there. I originally read that any meal would work for the dining package (as opposed to just dinner). I wonder if that will be true because I have breakfast at the Tusker House scheduled.
