My feet hurt so bad every time I go out. I am sad to admit it's probably time to buy some more supportive, adult shoes. Lol. I live in flat moccasins, flat boots, flip flops, etc.
I hate tennis shoes. I need at least two options (one for skirts, one for jeans)
What kind of every day shoes do (collective you) wear? I basically have tennis shoes or flip flops. I have no idea what style to even shop for. Plus I definitely need a wide which makes it harder to find something.

Not sure where you are price wise, but you might be fine with the styles you like if you just go up a bit in quality. I wear everything you describe but try to buy higher quality at the end of the season when they are cheap and find that they don't tend to bother my feet at all. May just be luck of the draw though because my arches (sp?) aren't too high or too low.

My go to shoes if I'm not wearing my tennis shoes are fake Toms from Target or flats from Kohl's. I think they're Sonoma? They're super comfy and lots of cute styles!
Has anyone worn Sanuk sandles/flip flops? They looks so comfy so I may try that for summer.
I haven't tried those but did both Reef and Rainbow brands for years and years. Both have a breaking in period but then become incredibly comfortable, in my opinion.
TOMS ballet flats have amazing support, in my opinion. They definitely run big, though. I size down half a size for their regular flats and a full size for their ballet flats. I also really like Rocket Dog ballet flats.

Rocket dog flats went up too high on my heel, but I've never tried Toms.
I live in flip flops when it's warm enough, I bought a pair of Reef ones last spring that I ended up loving so much I bought the same pair in 2 colors at the end of the season to have for this year
I was never a flats person - when I worked in an office and dressed up every day, I wore heels. Then my casual footwear was flip flops. When I moved here and couldn't wear flip flops all year, I had to start wearing flats. I bought a pair at DSW a few months ago that are cute but also have a little bit of padding in them - I think the brand is Me Too. I find flats hard to shop for because they seem to either have no support or be super thick old lady shoes, but there are some good ones out there.
I second MrsMB's recommendation of Dr. Scholl's inserts. I used the non-sticky ones to turn my cheap Payless flats into everyday shoes and make the super high (but super gorgeous) shoes I wore to my wedding tolerable.
My current work shoes are 1 1/2" wedge Hush Puppies, they're very comfortable. They are a half-size too big so I use Dr. Scholl's heel stickies to make them fit better.
For sandals, I LOVE Birkenstocks. I live in mine from June-September. They're expensive but worth it if you're going to wear them a lot. I want to find a shoe I love half as much, but haven't found it yet (or justified the cost yet, lol)
I just picked up these Skechers last weekend and I love them! We're heading to Disneyland next week, so I needed some comfortable shoes. They aren't the prettiest of shoes, but they are very squishy and the soles easily bend. I would say they are the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. They come in all sorts of colors.
I'm also in the process of getting more comfortable shoes. Old Navy flip flops and Payless don't cut it for me anymore. Brands like Nine West, Naturalizer, Born, and Clarks actually have some really cute styles that don't look like orthopedic shoes. I love my Naturalizer wedge sandals. Marshalls is my go-to for stylish footwear. I got some Born leather sandals and Franco Sarto flats there, and both have pretty good arch support
My sister really likes Toms, Sam Edelman Petty booties and Frye Melissa boots (but they aren't cheap). Occasionally Target has some comfortable stuff, like Birkenstock knock-offs. I like the ones from Target better than the actual Birkenstock Arizonas.
I like Converse but find them super uncomfortable, so I wear Teva lace-up shoes instead for casual wear. I think they look better than tennis shoes. There are some Skechers flats that look decent with jeans.
Yea, everything she said. I love my toms, converses, and born flats.
