...omg.. my car was hit in the parking lot at work. hit and run..... someone called the police thankfully. have a report. need to call ins.

And I had a meeting with my boss this morning after a disagreement that didn't go well yesterday afternoon.

Today can totally get better....

My cold/phlegmy problem from yesterday is definitely allergies.  Anyone have any recs for a Neti Pot, or anything else like it? I want to try a "crunchier" method than allergy pills (because they aren't doing ANYTHING for me today).

madDawg228 I have a ceramic neti pot I picked up years ago, probably Whole Paycheck or something. I recommend it (and that makes the third time this week I have to someone!). I like ceramic better than the plastic ones as I feel more confident in getting it properly sterilized in the dishwasher and stuff. It takes a bit to get used to, watch a lot of videos on youtube and keep trying. Definitely make sure the water is at least 90 degrees - colder will sting/hurt a lot. And you need the salt in it (uniodized) as well to prevent it stinging. But it feels really good on swollen sinuses, soothing, and it helps flush out the pollens and junk.

Anyone have a rec for just a one-time lawn mowing? Ours needs it and I don't want Jeff doing it with how bad his allergies are and everything else we have going on.

Had an eye appointment today and am getting some new glasses. My dad told me they made my face look chubby. Thanks dad.

BlackCanary, I think those look way cute on you! I need some new glasses but have the hardest time picking new frames, I always default to the same style and I want to not do that this next time lol

Nothing exciting for me. I took all the kids to a consignment sale this morning and did pretty well. I forgot to look in Aj's current size for a few more pieces and I was going to look for a doll car for M but didn't remember until I was already gone Debating on if I will go back this weekend to try for a little more or not.

Besides that all kids are now sick again. M is in the process of blowing out all the nasties and getting better. J is in the middle of the bad part, she is also a gagger when the mucous gets coughed out a certain way. Soooo that sucks. And then of course I've been fighting to keep little man from getting it but it looks like he is in the early stages of it
