Has anyone done Legoland and DW trip?

I'd like to take the kids this summer. My 6 year old son is really into Legos and I'd like to stay at the Legoland hotel for at least one night and then to WDW. Has anyone done this? How did you divide your days/time? I will also have my 9 year old dtr. with me.

We are doing just 1 Legoland day in November during our Disney trip. If the waterpark was open, we would do 2. I debated staying at the Legoland hotel, but I don't feel like moving our stuff (we already are doing a split stay at Disney).

I'd do it at the beginning or the end of your trip. Probably the beginning just so your kid isn't worn out from the disney portion.
