I've been experimenting with some new beauty/skin care products and have discovered some (IMO) Holy Grail status products that have seriously changed my skin. So I thought I'd share apologies that this may be a little long. Please share your own product raves below!
First- I've been going through a few months of weird (and consistent) breakouts. Nothing seemed to really work (even spending $$ on some products like r&f) and nothing made much of a difference. I tried this stuff (and it's $20) for the past few weeks and it's made such a huge difference in my skin. It's a gel cleanser that you apply to a damp face to make it lather. I even dab the product directly onto blemishes overnight as a spot treatment and it clears things right up. PS I've now become obsessed with BareMinerals skincare products
I came across this product while browsing the Nords site and every site I found it on had over 1000 reviews of 4-5 stars. It's essentially vitamins for your face (in cream form). I apply it as a moisturizer before my makeup. It's a skin game changer for me and even acts like a primer that smooths the texture of your skin, makes makeup glide on and last allll day. And has really improved my skins overall tone and texture. Obsessed. It sells out fast so when it was backordered I grabbed two bottles. Lol
This one was a little pricier. I read a blogger review on it, and picked up a sample at Nordstrom and in two applications became obsessed. A little goes a long way so I think the bottle will last me awhile. It's the Chanel Le Weekend. I wear it at night on the weekends (and sometimes 1-2 more nights during the week) and omg it's amazing. My skin saw an overnight difference after the first application and it keeps getting better. My skin literally glowed the next day and looks so supple and smooth. I'll be forever a purchaser of this stuff. Highly recommend.
And lastly- I've been using the NeuLash for a couple of months and am seeing great results. Only downside is that my lashes are getting kind of long that they now leave prints from my mascara right below my brows. The stuff works and the tube goes a long way I think.
Now I need a good mascara rec that doesn't transfer into eyelids lol I tried the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara and although I like it and how it makes my lashes pop, it transfers
Anyhow sorry for the novel post. But wanted to share these great products!

I need to get back on my skincare game! That Chanel stuff looks ah-mah-zing!
I have been loving the Living Proof dry shampoo. I've tried a lot of salon brands and this one is my favorite by far. I apply before bed (I don't brush it through) and my 2nd and 3rd day hair is my lifeless!! m.sephora.com/product/P399330
aak0517, try an eyelid primer for the transfer issue. I used to have that problem. Not because of my long eyelashes, but because my eyes are so hooded and starting to droop (yay age). Someone on here mentioned trying an eye primer and it works great. No more transfer.

I have always had an issue finding a mascara that doesn't irritate my eyes. My HG is Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill. It's expensive but I stick up when Nordstrom has their buy 2 get 1 free.

I wonder if the tube-forming kind would work? I didn't originally like it, but I decided to try one (L'Oreal) and ended up finding out two bonuses: 1) comes off really easily when I wash my face (LM one-step cleanser, I think makeup remover doesn't work as well, you need the water on your eyes) and doesn't get any residual mascara in my eyes and 2) even though it's not waterproof, if I happen to cry/get teary it doesn't affect my mascara as much (I don't like waterproof mascara, too much work to take off, lol)
Anyway, that second reason made me think it might work for you since it doesn't rub off very easily.
I just ordered the "skin rever-upper" - the reviews are amazing!!
You'll love it. It makes my makeup go one so well in the morning and Has overall improved the texture of my skin
Ok so question: when you put this on in the am do you put on before or after moisturizer? Or do you just skip moisturizer altogether? Still trying to figure out what I'm doing here lol.

It says you can wear it as well as a moisterizer. Personally for me that was too much. So I have been doing it as if it were my moisterizer and it's worked great. It really depends on your skin type and how dry/oily it normally is.

aak0517, I followed your advice and picked up a sample of the Le Weekend when I stopped in for mascara at the Chanel counter. I used it a couple days and went back for the small size kit with Le weekend, Le Jour and La Nuit and I LOVE all of it! I'm floored at how much my skin glows. You would right on the money with it!!! GREAT recommendation!!!!

Yay! Yeah the Le Weekend is amazing and I want to try the other two. Where did you get the small kit? I want to pick it up! I'm glad you noticed as much of a difference as I did and that I wasn't just crazy. Haha it does make your skin glow!

Nordstrom has the small kit, you get all three for like $90 I think? SUCH a good deal. I think I even saw it online. The lady at the counter said she has never seen it anywhere else, maybe it's a Nordstrom exclusive, I'm not sure.
