Mine was pretty good. Saw BFF and her H for a bit on Friday night and had some wine with them. Saturday watched a couple of the concerts going here for the March Madness festivities (Jason Derulo and Twenty One Pilots) and had beers & crawfish on the patio with a couple of friends. Yesterday had to do a grocery run, did a quick workout and walk with the dogs, a little yard work, and had time to give myself a manicure while the H grilled dinner.
Nothing too exciting planned for this week, but we do have a big concert festival on the 16th that I am looking forward to.
Best thing I ate over this past weekend were the bacon-wrapped chicken pieces stuffed with jalapeno and pepperjack cheese.
My weekend was great! We went rock climbing on Saturday, and it turns out that one of my yoga students used to be a climbing instructor, so he belayed me and I actually got a little further up the wall. Still not to the top, but I'll get there someday! We spent the rest of Saturday working on the grass and running to Costco. Yesterday I taught yoga and then went to a brewery downtown for a concert with some friends and their kid. We wound up going back to their house and staying for dinner...I'm feeling it this morning!
Nothing huge planned for this week. We're talking about going out for drinks on Friday to celebrate my birthday, but I'm not sure about it. Saturday we have brunch reservations though. I've been thinking about the eggs benedict i plan to order for weeks now!
The best thing I ate was probably the ice cream we got from Sonic on Saturday night.
We went to the mountains in Montana Thursday night for a weekend away with family/friends. I worked from there Friday and we did some shopping and hot tubbing. MH and I went for a run Saturday, which was nice to get outside there to run because it smells so good. Fresh air and pine trees. I even got a bit of a tan at the hot tub. We came home yesterday afternoon.
I am getting my hair done Thursday, but that about all that is exciting here.
Best thing I ate would have been the crab cakes at dinner Saturday night.
The weather here in Colorado is really warming up so we went on a bike ride in a local canyon and saw a ton of bighorn sheep.
At the end of the month, we are going home (FL) for about 5 days to visit friends/family and check out Harry Potter World.
The best thing I ate this weekend was a WONDERFUL pork chop at Perry's Steakhouse. Yum!
MMMMMMM, I love Perry's pork chops! I hope you went on Friday when they are half price! But if not, still worth every penny.
I need to look into the Friday half price option. We went on Sunday when they have a special (not on the menu) that comes with any salad on the menu plus 3 mini desserts for $30.

Yeah, do check to see if it's the same there, but in Houston, Friday lunches are 1/2 price pork chops (every Friday!), and that's pretty much what 90% of the people are getting when I look around while eating there for Friday lunch. And it's generally the same portion as you get at dinner, so I end up having 2 meals out of it between what I can eat on the spot and what ends up getting packed to-go!
I did get the 3 mini dessert thing one time for a birthday dinner and it was also amazing!
Weekend was good. I met G and his coworkers at a bar for happy hour on Friday. Saturday was the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ festival all day, so we enjoyed tons of good booze and bbq, then went to our friends' house until after 2am. Sunday we slept in, then I did homework and took care of a ton of little projects around the house. I got to sleep in this morning before our meeting with an architect-- trying to decide who we'll go with for our kitchen remodel.
Best think I ate was pulled pork w/ coleslaw and white beans at the festival. Best drink was Johnnie Walker blue label (which I just googled and holy balls is it expensive.)

Looking forward to NOLA this month!
F yeah, it is expensive! I have only tasted it one time (and it was a tiny sip, not even a full shot/glass) when my uncle got a bottle for his 50th birthday and was kind enough to let some people try it. It's usually locked up in our liquor stores and not out on the shelves!
