Secret Circle cancelled

I liked that show too. And I am confused about it being cancelled, because I thought it was doing ok for CW standards.

I read that it was doing OK but not well enough for a show with the time slot / lead in that it got. IE a show with Vampire Diaries as a lead in should be doing better. I think Nikita, for example, was better last year. So the network was worried because they normally pair up TVD with a new show and if they had to move Secret Circle to another night to stand alone it would do poorly.

Personally, I liked the show but never loved it. And I love CW shows (to give you some reference). I just always felt like something about the pacing was off and they never answered questions I wanted answered.

And I liked Cassie but never really feel in love with anyone else (I did kind of like Jake though). Faye was just too much and Melissa was irritating and Diana towards the end was so self absorbed.

So I'm actually not too sad that it was canceled.

I watch it but I don't really love it. It had potential to be so much better.

It was an awesome time killer for me. I was actually bummed that it got canceled. I hope that some other station picks it up.

I'm sad that it was cancelled. I hope someone picks it up. I'd atleast like to see how everything ends up playing out with all those other Blackwell children!

This! I didn't love it until near the end. The beginning was slow. But it looked like next season would have been a lot better.

CW drives me crazy with all the canceling they do. I should really just stop watching their new shows. Just stick with Vampire Diaries and be done with it.

The show kind of dragged on but the last couple episodes have me really hooked again. I really hope it gets picked up. Of course I don't have cable so if it's not on hulu I'm kind of screwed :/

SyFy? That isn't the right channel for it. It would probably die UNLESS they did some major re-writing for the next season, then maybe. Because like others said, the beginning was slow. It had enough to keep my attention but it was definitely the last couple episodes that got me hooked.
